BIDDING: You must register to bid. When you register you will receive a permanent bidder ID# and password via e-mail. You will then be able to use these for all ensuing auctions. Actual bidding will be done using the bid form via e-mail.

If your number is in the high bid column, you are the current high bidder. You will NOT be notified if you have been outbid, so check the auction page often. The auction, and the bid amounts, will be updated several times a day. The time and date of the last update will appear on the auction page. Please make sure you REFRESH your browser to ensure you get the most recent updated page.

The auction will begin with the reserve prices indicated in the current bid column, followed by an "R" in the high bidder column. This current price and "R" will remain until a bid equal to or higher than the reserve price is received.

All bids must be AT LEAST one increment above the highest bid. In case of tie, the earliest bidder will prevail. In a case where a TIE does exists on a lot, a "(T)" will be inserted next to the Bidder ID number of the person who placed the earliest bid amount. The (T) will be removed when either the high bidder increases his/her reserve or a new bidder overbids the TIED bid amount.

Any out of increment bidding will be lowered to reflect the appropriate increment. However, your high bid will be honored throughout the entire auction. REMEMBER: Your high bid will only be used if necessary, so bid the maximum you are willing to pay.

No bid retractions will be accepted after the auction has been updated. If you wish to withdraw a bid please notify us by e-mail ASAP and before the next update. Please review your bids carefully before submitting them.

The auction page will be updated several times per day. On the closing date, the last update of the auction page will occur approximately 30 minutes prior to the close. Bids will be accepted up until the close. Unofficial results will be posted approximately 45 minutes AFTER the close. Final results will be published the following morning. Bids RECEIVED AFTER the close WILL NOT BE HONORED, even if sent prior to the close. We simply cannot be responsible for email or server problems. We suggest that you send your bids in early or no later than 5 minutes AFTER the final update is made 30 minutes prior to the close!

You must be 18 years or older to bid. We reserve the right to reject any bid for any reason. Usually this is done if the bidder fails to pay for lots, does not answer E-mail inquires, issues a bad check etc.

PAYMENT FOR LOTS: After the auction closes, we will notify you by e-mail if you are the high bidder, and what the total payment is (including postage and insurance). All US mailings will be charged a flat $1.25 for postage regardless of weight. Insurance will be that amount charged by the USPS. International mail will be charged the appropriate postage and insurance fees as charged by USPS. Payment must be made by check or money order. We also accept credit card payment but only through PayPal, which is a third party company that handles credit card purchases. It is free! The shipment of purchased material will be made immediately to all known customers and those using a credit card as payment or as soon as checks clear on new customers. Lots paid for by money orders will be shipped immediately. Unless other arrangements have been made prior to the start of the auction, we must receive payment on or before the fifteenth day after the close of the auction. Failure to comply may result in the denial of accepting bids in current or future auctions.
INSURANCE POLICY: We will automatically include insurance coverage costs on all orders over $25.00. If you wish to decline/waive insurance coverage, please notify us via email upon receipt of our invoice. We strongly recommend against waiving this insurance. In any case, please keep in mind that we cannot be responsible for lost shipments if they are not insured. Our charges for insurance are the exact amount charged to us by the USPS. Due to new changes instituted by the USPS, if your insured material is "lost" during shipment we will work with you in helping you to file a claim and obtain payment (a refund) from the Post Office. This is a very cumbersome, frustrating and time consuming process but we will do everything we can to assist you and that includes initiating the insurance claim from our end to save you time!
RETURNS: All items are guaranteed to be geniune and as described. Pictured lots cannot be returned because of centering, perforations or cancels. You may return pictured lots if you feel these lots were not as described for other reasons than those listed above. In addition, unpictured lots can also be returned if you feel they are not as described and you are unhappy. Refunds will be issued for all returned items. Lots which are returned must be returned in the condition in which you received them, and they must be received by at our office no later than 21 days after they were mailed.
CERTIFICATION: We will honor requests for professional certification on any single stamp purchased through us with a PURCHASE PRICE exceeding $100.00. Winning bidder must notify us with 5 days of receipt of a lot that he/she intends to send the stamp in for certification. We will accept certification opinions from: APS, PSE, and PFC only. It is the responsibility of the lot winner to send the stamp in for certification and pay all associated costs. If the certification opinion does not agree with the description that was provided during the auction, we will, at the request of the lot winner, refund the full purchase price of the stamp and a maximum of $35.00 towards the certification fee and mailing costs. This will be paid to the lot winner upon receipt of the stamp in question and the official certification. If a stamp is sold WITH a certification, we will not honor a second opinion (recertification).
THERE IS NO 10% HAMMER CHARGE IN THIS AUCTION!!!!

Placing of a bid indicates understanding and acceptance of these terms.
